Paneer/Tofu Tikka Recipe Without Oven/Tandoor
|Ingredients:
- Paneer or Tofu- 100 gms
- Capsicum- 1 small
- Onion- 1 small
- Turmeric powder- 1 tea spoon
- Red chilli powder- 1 and a half tea spoon
- Coriander powder- 1 and a half tea spoon
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 table spoon
- Curd- 50 gms
- Gram flour- 50 gms
- Lemon- 1
- Cooking oil
- Salt- as per taste
Use tofu instead of paneer in the same process, if you are looking for a weight-loss recipe. Moreover, tofu is a healthier alternative to paneer as it has high protein content.
Cut paneer (or tofu) in pieces with the help of knife. Chop vegetables (onion and capsicum) into sizes as shown in above image.
Take curd in a bowl
Add red chilli, coriander, and turmeric powder.
Now add gram flour.
Squeeze lemon to it and add ginger garlic paste.
Add 1 and a half tea spoon salt (or as per your taste) and mix everything well.
Add capsicum, onion and paneer.
Mix everything well so that paneer and veggies are covered in coating.
Now apply oil to a non-stick pan with a silicon brush. This recipe requires non-stick pan since the coated gets sticked to the pan.
Now place paneer pieces as well as coated veggies also to the pan on which you applied oil.
Turn it around when its golden brown in colour. Cook from both sides properly.
And your paneer tikka is ready. Serve with chutney of your choice.
